IDT Theory and Models (Group Presentation) - Robert Gagné's Theory of Instruction

In this group project I worked with Fernando Colin and Leonela Loza to create a Nearpod presentation for Robert Gagné's Theory of Instruction, or his Nine Events of Instruction. This assignment was created during fall semester 2023 in EDIIT 4510 taught by Dr. Manisha Javeri. The audience for this presentation is for college aged students, or for anyone wishing to learn about Robert Gagné's theories.

We split up the nine events equally and we each created slides for our Nearpod presentation. This was a fun assignment and I enjoyed learning about the nine events and I especially enjoyed creating the graphics for my slides. I was also introduced to the Nearpod program during this assignment. It was exciting to explore the program and to test out what it's capable of doing.

Below is a link to our Nearpod presentation.

Nearpod - Robert Gagne's Theory of Instruction

Below are the slides I designed for the presentation.

I also created graphics for the matching game within the presentation. I decided to color code the matching pairs in order to guide the learner through the activity. I've included three pairs out of five below. You can see all five pairs in action within the Nearpod presentation linked above.
